The Tools You Need to Bring
The first step to success in class is having the right equipment!
HERE IS WHAT YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE FOR MY CLASS
- A Three ring binder is mandatory. Not a folder, not a theme book, but a binder with rings that you can actually open and close. I suggest one that is at least one and a half inches thick. The one inch size gets filled way too fast.
- A divider that you put all of your language arts work behind.
- A pouch that goes in the binder to hold your pencils and such. Not a box or a bag that you carry around, but a pouch that actually is part of your binder.
- More than one pencil and ideally, a flat (so it fits nice in the pouch) manual pencil sharpener.
- Paper in the binder.
- A highlighter should also be in the pouch!
NOT REQUIRED, BUT VERY USEFUL: A pencil sharpener that will fit in your pouch. It will need to be fairly flat to fit there well, and it needs to have a reservoir to catch the shavings.
