Sharing a Document with Mr. Bjerke
Google Drive has a great feature that allows people to share documents they have created. I often need you to share a document with me so that I can see that you have done it. For essays that are optional to type, this can be a good way to hand it in.
STEPS TO SHARING A DOCUMENT:
1. When you are ready to share a document with me, click on the blue button at the top right corner of the page that says Share.
2. There is a window that opens that has a box where you can share put the email address of the person you want to share it with.
3. Type my email into that box. It is [email protected].
4. Next to the box that you typed my email into, there is a drop-down list to choose. It is already set to Can Edit which means that when you share your document with me, I can make changes to it. If you want to keep it on that, you can, but you probably want to change it to Can Comment. The other option is View which only lets me see it, but not comment or make and edits.
5. If you want to include a message to me, there is a box for that below the email box.
6. Hit send.
7. You shared it!
